Cecil P. Buddy is also a professional American pool player also known by the name of “The Rifleman”. He got this name due to his accurate shots in billiards. He was named as a “living pool legend” by the International Pool Tour. Buddy Hall was also inducted in the Billiards Congress of America’s Hall of Fame in the year 2005.

Hall was named Player of the year by The National Billiard News and Pool and Billiards Magazine a total of three times. He also introduced a new technique to the game named the “clock system”.

Johnny Archer is another of the many American pool players placed on this list of top 10 pool players of all time. Although in 8th place in this list, he was ranked the third in the “Fans’ Top 20 Players” poll by the Pool & Billiard Magazine in the year 2007.

Archer is nicknamed the “Scorpio” due to the fact that his zodiac sign happens to be Scorpio. Archer has won the WPA World Nine-ball Championship twice in the years of 1992 and 1997. He was also inducted in the Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame on the 8th of June, 2009.

American professional football player, Mike Sigel is a three-time US Open Nine-ball Championship winner and five times World Pocket Billiard Championship winner. He is known by the nickname of “Captain Hook” due to his ability to use safety plays to hook his rivals.

Sigel is the youngest ever to be inducted to the Billiards Congress of America Hall of Fame in the year 1989 when he was just 35 years old.
